Jamie Stier
Jamie joined Racing Victoria as Executive General Manager, Integrity Services, in May 2018. He has worked in integrity in horse racing for 40 years including in Australia, Great Britain, and Hong Kong. After spending 24 years Stewarding in Australia and Hong Kong, where he was Chairman of Stewards for his final 7 years, Jamie accepted the role of Chief Regulatory Officer with the British Horseracing Authority in 2010 overseeing the regulatory function across all thoroughbred racing in Britain. Jamie has either led or been involved in many of the more significant Stewards Inquiries or Reviews undertaken in his time in racing.
In addition, from a rural background Jamie has always had a keen interest in animal welfare and is the Executive Manager responsible for equine welfare and veterinary services at Racing Victoria and Chairman of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities’ Horse Welfare Committee.
