Simon R Bailey
Simon Bailey is Professor of Veterinary Biosciences and Deputy Head of the Melbourne Veterinary School. After initially spending time in veterinary practice in the UK, he spent 12 years at the Royal Veterinary College London and 2 years at the Ohio State University before coming to Melbourne in 2007. He has published more than 130 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals; in the fields of equine laminitis, endocrinology, inflammation and gastrointestinal and cardiovascular function. He is an Associate Editor of the journals Animals and The Australian Veterinary Journal.
