Ashleigh V. Morrice-west
Dr. Ashleigh Morrice-West is a research fellow and veterinary clinician at the Equine Centre University of Melbourne. Her epidemiological expertise combined with her clinical experience has allowed her to both investigate why racehorse injuries occur at the population level and then apply that knowledge both in her clinical practice and through wider industry education. Ashleigh is committed to reducing the incidence of injuries and fatalities in the racing industry. Her close relationship with the racing industry participants and regulators ensures that her findings will have a real and positive impact on racing safety and welfare
