Amie Kapusniak is a veterinarian and PhD candidate at Adelaide University, with her research focusing on equine cardiology. She has a particular interest in strategies for the prevention of sudden cardiac death in equine athletes, and her research explores the use of smart textiles and artificial intelligence to improve cardiac monitoring and detection of exercise-associated arrhythmias in racehorses.
