Takayuki Furukawa
Takayuki Furukawa graduated from the Department of Biological Science at Hokkaido University in 2007. He earned his PhD from the Graduate School of Life Science at Hokkaido University in 2012. He then held postdoctoral positions in the David Crich Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Wayne State University and in the Hisashi Yamamoto Lab at Chubu University. After serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Science, School of Medicine at Hokkaido University from 2015 to 2018 and gaining experience at an OMICS-based contract analysis company, he joined LRC in 2021. Since then, he has been engaged in doping-control testing as a chemist and senior chemist. Throughout his career, he has specialized in chemistry, particularly analytical chemistry including metabolomics, lipidomics and glycomics, as well as organic and pharmaceutical chemistry.
