Tim Morris
Independent Scientific Adviser to the Greyhound Board of Great Britain since February 2014. After qualification from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) as a Veterinary Surgeon, I was in veterinary practice before returning to the RVC to complete a PhD. I then held a range of roles in research, clinical veterinary medicine, and public affairs for the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. From 2008 to 2013 I was Director of Equine Science and Welfare at the the British Horseracing Authority. I am a visiting professor at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, an affiliate member of the Association of Official Racing Chemists and I have held a large number of roles in veterinary and scientific organisations, industry bodies, and animal welfare charities.
