This lecture will concentrate on how the industry must acknowledge the strong social licence needed for the racing industry to survive. It will touch on integrity within codes, oversight of the codes and the necessity of integrity, including a massive push for animal welfare, to be held to the highest standards by veterinarians, trainers and stakeholders.
